My Dad and I

My dad is my everlasting superhero, who always takes care of me, trying to grant my every wishes, and understand about my character (sometime he's more concern about my mind than my mom.. hehe). He is a politician. He began acquainted of politic from internal campus organization when he'd take his bachelor education then learn about it on formal level through master degree. In our house, he has many books. Average the book instead about Islam, politic, and environment issue. I love reading too, because he influenced me to be a bookworm.

As some wise men does generally, his hobbies are reading book and newspaper, watching television, also doing jogging almost every morning. He likes to debate about some political issues with his friends, I think it because he carried out his duties conscientiously as politicians. Sometimes feels like I'm not interest enough about his job, but on another day I'm a lil bit curious and need to know how a politician influence the working environment on a country.

One thing that makes me feels so lucky to have him as my dad, he always support the way of my life. But in other side, he protects me to allow all the rules of Islam. When I was a teenager, I take my hijab on school only, and before I went to move out from my hometown for start my college in another city, he asks me to always keep my hijab as a true Muslimah. I never got his reminder before, so I thought “This is the right time for changing my life on the right way immediately”. Since it, miracle comes to my life continuously. When in college, I’ve been slowly start to "hijrah" and learned more about Islam step by step. 

In the rest of his life, I hope he will keep his way on the best track and istiqomah in the right path. Rabb, thanks for give me the best dad that I couldn't ask more! Please to always keep him on YOUR blessing and don’t let him give up for always pray and survive no matter how hard the life's trial will be. May our family can living a beautiful life in this dunya and then reunited in Jannah. InSyaa Allah, if Allah will :)

Di suatu tempat

Dalam diam ku melangkah perlahan dan dengan enggan memilih salah satu diantara deretan kursi yang tersedia. Aku melipat kaki dan mulai kembali menekuni buku yang sedang ku genggam. Ku baca dengan seksama goresan tinta hitam yang berbaris rapi di putihnya lembaran kertas. Namun sepertinya pikiranku tidak dapat fokus. Ku arahkan pandanganku ke kanan dan ke kiri, yang terlihat hanyalah deretan kursi tanpa penghuni. Suatu harapan tiba-tiba berkelebat dalam pikiranku. Suatu harapan yang sepertinya tidak mungkin terjadi saat itu. Angin bertiup lembut menerpa wajahku, seolah hadir untuk menyadarkanku. Aku pun kembali menatap kosong buku di hadapanku. Entahlah aku merasa terkadang harapan dan kenyataan dapat dengan mudah disatukan. Tak berapa lama, tampak beberapa orang mulai berdatangan dan mengisi kursi-kursi kosong di sekitarku. Ku tatap sekilas wajah mereka, namun semua terlihat asing. Tak ada yang ku kenal. Tapi yang pasti aku tak lagi sendiri. Sudah saatnya menghadapi dunia yang se

How Busy!

Sibuk!  Sibuk, satu kata yang menjadi sebuah alasan yang sempurna untuk menjalani sebuah kehidupan. Kalau tidak sibuk, sesorang seperti tidak berguna. Walaupun sibuk tidak berarti selalu sedang mengerjakan hal-hal positif, namun entah mengapa setiap orang seakan-akan berlomba-lomba mencari kesibukan. Ada yang dengan mudah melakukan kesibukan karena sudah menemukan tujuan hidupnya pada saat itu, contohnya seperti para pekerja, pelajar, ataupun mahasiswa “sejati”. Namun tidak sedikit yang masih mondar-mandir mencari kesibukan karena bingung ingin melakukan apa :p  Saya berharap “sibuk’ jugalah alasan saya meninggalkan kegiatan tulis-menulis hingga tanpa terasa telah vakum setahun lebih mengisi catatan di blog ini. Dengan begitu saya bisa tenang, karena tidak merasa bersalah telah melupakan hobi lama saya yang mana artinya rantaian kata-kata (baca: pemikiran) di kepala saya tidak tertuang sedikit pun.   “The real beauty never need to be over expose” because the shine of beauty like a pearl, it better hide in some place to keep it from any bad effect or bad human. Generally, every girl was born to have some unique beauty. But usually, they were only focus to show the beautiful outside without notice the most important thing. The real beauty appears from the pure heart and smart brain, without heart and brain beauty is nothing! Pure heart created someone to have good attitude as daily behavior in the social community and smart brain needed to manage more problems as survivor. Smarter is helper and sweetheart is angel, it is a perfect combination if you tried to put it all on yourself. So, Let’s make ourselves to be a real beauty human! :)
