I think we've been taught from such a young age that happiness is meant to be something big, all consuming thing.  That it is  moment that cracks open our bones and changes our lives and sweeps all of the weight inside of us away. That it is something that is awarded to us, gifted to us by the world. That it is something we are always in pursuit of until we find it. And so, we are always waiting. Waiting for this experience, this simplifying in life, a  moment where the wounds are all healed and the growth is all organized neatly within our  hearts aren't afraid of loving anymore and the warmth never leaves.  But I don't think happiness is something big, or infinite at all. I think real happiness exists in the acceptance of the fact that we will always be balancing what is light and dark within ourselves, believing that you are meant to be here, that you are meant to take up space in this world, finding the human beings who take care of y...

Mencoba menghitung mundur waktu untuk sejenak merenung akan laju kehidupan yang telah terlewati dengan segala kebaikan dan keburukannya. Namun waktu seolah berjalan begitu cepat nan melesat bagai angin kencang meniupkan seluruh dedaunan kering di sekeliling pohon-pohon yang tegap berdiri menghiasi taman Kota yang sering kulewati di akhir pekan. Ingin ku bertanya pada sang waktu, apakah ia tak lelah terus menerus bergerak tanpa jeda? Lalu bagaimana caraku untuk menyamai langkah dengannya yang seolah tak mungkin tergapai dengan kaki mungil ini? Rasanya baru kemarin begini dan begitu, sepertinya baru sehari dua hari yang lalu melakukan ini dan itu, bukankah lima sepuluh tahun yang lalu belum ada ini dan itu, sekarang tau-tau dunia sudah menjelma menjadi begini dan begitu. Tapi tak apa, bila waktu tak bergerak dan segalanya tak berubah sepertinya kehidupan akan terasa membosankan. A lot of horrible things or great things happen all the time. Whether it’s something terrifying or incredible, it will be always happen every single day. Some reason why I let myself keep logged in at my social media (although sometimes my heart refuse to exist and drown on it) because I love processing information and keep contact to my relatives that makes me feel deep in connect with them and forget about long distance.
